Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re almost turning the S&amp;P 500 into more of a momentum index,\u201d Apriem Advisors\u2019 Benjamin Lau, whose firm manages $850 million worth of assets, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2020-11-20\/tesla-s-s-p-500-debut-may-spark-8-billion-demand-goldman-says\">told Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m more worried about how it affects our index funds and passive holdings than anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>(If the visualization below doesn\u2019t show, try reloading this page in your browser\u2019s \u201cDesktop Mode.\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tesla_is_bigger_than_Visa_but_not_quite_as_big_as_Berkshire\"><\/span>Tesla is bigger than Visa, but not quite as big as Berkshire<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Lau has a point. Tesla is already\u00a0one of the biggest companies in the world.
