TikTok\u2019s biggest star, Charli D\u2019Amelio, 16, found herself 1 million followers short and bombarded with criticism over a video posted this week that many thought was flippant and entitled.<\/p>\n

In the video<\/a>, Charli carries on a cringeworthy dinner-table disagreement with her parents, Marc and Heidi, her sister, Dixie, fellow TikTokker James Charles\u00a0and\u00a0personal chef Aaron May<\/a>. At one point, she laments that she hasn\u2019t hit 100 million followers quickly enough, leaving her fans feeling like mere notches on a bedpost. Another regrettable moment happ<\/a>ened when May cooked the family escargot, an \u201comen of good luck and fortune,\u201d May says to the D\u2019Amelio family, who reside in Norwalk, Connecticut.<\/p>\n

Dixie tries the cultural delicacy, then convulses, gags and runs outside to vomit in front of May, while Charli asks for \u201cdino nuggets.\u201d Despite support from Charles after the criticism started rolling in, Charli\u2019s followers continued to point out the family\u2019s rude behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s disgusting how spoiled and disrespectful those girls are,\u201d one commenter wrote. \u201cDidn\u2019t pass the vibe check,\u201d deemed another.<\/p>\n

But Charli, worth an estimated $4 million<\/a> for her social<\/a>-media fame, isn\u2019t backing down.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow I will be back posting normal content with a smile on my face! At the end of the day I know I am a good person with a good heart and I will never change that about myself. I love you all!!\u201d she wrote on Twitter<\/a>, scooping up 188,000 likes as of Friday morning.<\/p>\n

As of Friday morning, Charli had just<\/em> 98.5 million followers, down from her 99.5 million prior to the video.<\/p>\n

Reps for Charli declined The Post\u2019s request for comment about the online controversy.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
