\n Mike Perry was given a pretty ironic walkout song for his UFC 255 bout on Saturday.<\/p>\n

On his way to the octagon, the track \u201cHalo\u201d by Beyonc\u00e9 began blaring over the loudspeakers to Perry\u2019s surprise.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs this f\u2014king \u2018Halo?\u2019\u201d he could be heard saying to his corner on camera. \u201cWhat the f\u2013k?\u201d<\/p>\n

It app<\/a>eared Perry\u2019s first choice for a walk-up song was unavailable and so the Beyonc\u00e9 hit was chosen instead. Perry embraced the moment, however, singing along to the song before the official checked him in.<\/p>\n

Perry ended up losing to Tim Means by unanimous decision in a welterweight fight at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

In October, Perry was accused of abuse by his ex-wife Danielle Nickerson, who said he physically assaulted her \u201ca handful of times.\u201d Nickerson filed a protective order against him in March, but it was denied by a Florida judge.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not [something UFC president Dana White will see] and be like, \u2018He\u2019s cut.\u2019 There\u2019s no way. I don\u2019t have that sort of impact. This is not for that,\u201d Nickerson told MMA Junkie in October.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is for helping others. This is for getting the word out there about what you can do to help people in a domestic violence situation and the warning signs and how to not get this deep into something. Hopefully this will be something that pushes the UFC into doing more checks on their heads and brain damage and really taking care of them physically.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perry denied all of the allegations, writing on social media<\/a> that he never laid a finger on Nickerson. In July, Perry went into treatment after a video of him punching an elderly man at a Texas restaurant went viral.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
