“#Watch the Weeknd\u2019s AMAs 2020 Performance With Kenny G<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Tonight, during the American Music Awards 2020<\/a> broadcast, the Weeknd made an app<\/a>earance to perform \u201cIn Your Eyes\u201d and \u201cSave Your Tears\u201d from his latest album After Hours<\/em>. He performed on an empty bridge that\u2019s flanked by fireworks. Kenny G was there, too. Watch it happen below.<\/p>\n

The Weeknd was recently announced as the 2021 Super Bowl halftime show performer. In recent months he\u2019s put out collaborations with Maluma (\u201cHaw\u00e1i (Remix)\u201d) and Oneohtrix Point Never (\u201cNo Nightmares,\u201d from Daniel Lopatin\u2019s latest album Magic Oneohtrix Point Never<\/em>). October saw Abel Tesfaye debut a grisly music video for \u201cToo Late.\u201d<\/p>\n

At tonight\u2019s ceremony, the Weeknd was nominated for eight awards, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video (\u201cBlinding Lights\u201d), Favorite Male Artist – Pop\/Rock, and more. He won Favorite Album – Soul\/R&B and Soul\/R&B Song.\u00a0<\/p>\n
