\n It was the purr-fect ending for Corey Johnson.<\/p>\n

Johnson\u2019s cat \u201cMousse\u201d was back in his arms Monday night after the feline went missing in Brooklyn earlier in the day.<\/p>\n

\u201cWE FOUND MOUSSE! THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP AND CONCERN! I\u2019VE BEEN SHAKING ALL EVENING BUT AM SO RELIEVED AND GRATEFUL!\u201d the speaker tweeted to his more than 42,000 followers.<\/p>\n

In a separate tweet, Johnson said his cat escaped his boyfriend\u2019s apartment<\/a> near South 9th St. and Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg around 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease share and help me find my best friend Mousse who means so much to me,\u201d he pleaded. \u201cI am completely devastated. Please help.\u201d<\/p>\n

The flier he tweeted featured a picture of \u201cMousse\u201d and large, bold and red letters saying, \u201cLOST CAT.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson described his cat as being \u201cvery friendly and very loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2018, the speaker adopted Mousse from the Animal Care Centers of NYC \u2014 an animal shelter that takes abandoned cats, dogs, and rabbits, in for adoptions.<\/p>\n

Johnson is a strong proponent of animal adoption.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love my cat Mousse, who I adopted from the Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC),\u201d he posted on Facebook<\/a> at the time. \u201cIf you\u2019re looking for a pet, I urge you to strongly consider adoption.\u201d\n <\/div>\n
