Original creator John Kricfalusi, who was accused of sexual misconduct in 2018, will not be affiliated with the new show. ViacomCBS says a new creative team at Nickelodeon Animation Studios will work on the project.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-48437\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Comedy Central announced today that it is rebooting the cartoon The Ren &amp; Stimpy Show, and Nina L. Diaz, chief creative officer of ViacomCBS\u2019s Entertainment &amp; Youth Group thanked their partners at Nick Animation as they re-develop these iconic characters with a new creative team.<\/p>\n<p>Chris McCarthy, president of ViacomCBS Entertainment &amp; Youth Group added, \u201c<em>Ren &amp; Stimpy<\/em> joins our repaidly expanding roster of adult animation including <em>South Park<\/em>, <em>Beavis and Butt-Head<\/em>, and <em>Clone High<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Consequences of Sound tweeted, \u201cBilly West, the voice of Stimpy \u2013 and of Ren (for three seasons) \u2013 is expected to return for the revival, along with several of the original writers.
