The second a person thinks your page is too difficult to navigate you\u2019re going to start losing conversions.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_do_you_overcome_this_confusion\"><\/span><em>How do you overcome this confusion? <\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Combat it with clarity. There are a couple simple steps you can take to make sure your audience is able to clearly understand your message. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Write Clear &amp; Simple Headlines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A value proposition is a person\u2019s first interaction with your page. Don\u2019t let cleverness or cuteness stand in the way of clarity. However, don\u2019t let that deter you from working some personality into your headlines \u2013 just be sure the message remains clear. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Align CTA With Your Landing Page<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re noticing a high bounce rate on your landing page, then the chances are there\u2019s a disconnect between the click-through action and the landing page itself. When creating that CTA, keep in mind the page you\u2019re linking. <\/p>\n<p>The transition from the CTA to the actual landing page should be a seamless one in terms of design, messaging, color scheme, [and] text. You don\u2019t want people to click through and land on a page that seems like it doesn\u2019t belong. [The visitor] may think it\u2019s spam or a place that they shouldn\u2019t be. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Avoid Industry Jargon<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Especially if you\u2019re trying to get new people into that industry.
