\n YouTube temporarily suspended the One America News<\/a> Network for posting a video that promoted a fake cure for COVID-19, according to a report Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The move also prevents OANN from profiting off its other videos on the site, Axios said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

YouTube \u2014 which removed the video at issue \u2014 reportedly acted because OANN violated a misinformation policy that prohibits users from posting videos that claim the coronavirus can be cured.<\/p>\n

OANN was previously warned about violating the policy, Axios said.<\/p>\n

OANN\u2019s one-week suspension reportedly marked Google-owned YouTube\u2019s first \u201cstrike\u201d against the cable TV network.<\/p>\n

Two more would lead to its account being terminated, Axios said.<\/p>\n

In addition, OANN will have to reapp<\/a>ly to the YouTube Partner Program in order to resume making money off its videos, Axios said.<\/p>\n

OANN didn\u2019t immediately respond to a request for comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
