Bertelsmann SE\u2019s<br \/>\n        BTG4,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202100262\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.76%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Penguin Random House already is the U.S.\u2019s largest publisher by books sold, while Simon &amp; Schuster is the third largest, behind <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> Corp\u2019s HarperCollins Publishers.<\/p>\n<p> The companies haven\u2019t yet reached a final agreement, and it is possible the deal still could fall apart, the people said.<\/p>\n<p>ViacomCBS<br \/>\n        VIAC,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200340870\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.31%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       put\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/viacomcbs-explores-sale-of-simon-schuster-publishing-house-11583343286?mod=article_inline\" class=\"icon none\">Simon &amp; Schuster up for sale in March<\/a>, saying it would use the cash proceeds to further invest in its streaming-video efforts. Viacom Inc. and CBS Corp. completed their merger in December 2019.
