\n Minnesota lawmakers remained at odds Saturday over police reforms after George Floyd\u2019s death, ending a special legislative session without a deal.<\/p>\n

Democrats had proposed nearly two dozen bills, including measures to put the state\u2019s attorney general<\/a> in charge of cases involving deadly force and a ban on \u201cwarrior-style\u201d training for police, the Minneapolis StarTribune reported.<\/p>\n

The state Senate\u2019s minority leader blamed Republican lawmakers who \u201cchose to leave before finishing our work.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Republican-led Senate had earlier app<\/a>roved more modest reform, including a ban on the kind of chokeholds and neck restraints used on Floyd, according to reports.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
