To hype the forthcoming home video release, Warner Bros. Pictures released a featurette that showcases hip-hop artist <strong>Travis Scott<\/strong>\u2018s original song \u201cThe Plan\u201d and how it came to be in the movie. It turns out we have Grammy-winning <em>Black Panther<\/em> composer<strong> <span class=\"aCOpRe\">Ludwig G\u00f6ransson<\/span><\/strong> (above right) to thank for that. <span id=\"more-647430\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tenet_Featurette_%E2%80%93_Travis_Scotts_%E2%80%9CThe_Plan%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>Tenet Featurette \u2013 Travis Scott\u2019s \u201cThe Plan\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TENET | Try And Keep Up: John David Washington and Travis Scott | Warner Bros. Entertainment\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gxuT5yqZJh8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After working on the score for a bit, <span class=\"aCOpRe\">Ludwig G\u00f6ransson felt that the music he created for the movie made the was a little anti-climactic for the end credits, so he wanted to bring in a recording artist who could add a little more energy. The composer suggested that Christopher Nolan show <em>Tenet<\/em> to Travis Scott in order to see what he could come up with for an end credits song.<br \/><\/span><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->In the featurette, Christopher Nolan praises Scott\u2019s emulation of the movie in his track, which uses a certain beat that <span class=\"aCOpRe\">G\u00f6ransson<\/span> created for the film\u2019s score. After \u201cThe Plan\u201d was finished, <span class=\"aCOpRe\">G\u00f6ransson<\/span> ended u using part of Scott\u2019s vocals and inserted them into the score. So by the time <em>Tenet<\/em> is over, it\u2019s almost like this song has been teased throughout the film. The result is an infectious track that cast member <strong>John David Washington<\/strong> called \u201cfire\u201d and \u201coff the chain.\u201d We certainly won\u2019t argue with that.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to highlighting the creation of \u201cThe Plan,\u201d there\u2019s also some great behind-the-scenes footage of some of the big action sequences in the movie, something we can\u2019t wait to get a longer look at on the<em> Tenet<\/em> home video release coming on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B08KQ4D48D\/?tag=film-20\"><strong>December 15, 2020<\/strong><\/a>. Unfortunately, the special features aren\u2019t exactly plentiful, but the one that\u2019s included is an hour-long exploration of the development and production of the film as told by the cast and crew, so that should be fairly satisfying.<\/p>\n<p>Though it may not be the best time to head out to movie theaters,<em> Tenet<\/em> is still playing on the big screen. In this dismal box office environment, the movie was still holding strong in the #8 spot on the charts last weekend with an estimated $360,000. That brings its total box office gross so far to $56.9 million.
