\n Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and his husband have tested positive for the coronavirus and are in quarantine.<\/p>\n

They are \u201casymptomatic, feeling well, and will continue to isolate in their home,\u201d Polis tweeted<\/a> Saturday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis evening, Governor Polis and First Gentleman [Marlon] Reis learned that they have tested positive for COVID-19,\u201d an official statement from the governor\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMarlon and I are feeling well so far, and are in good spirits. No person or family is immune to this virus,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cI urge every Coloradan to practice caution, limit public interaction, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others, and wash your hands regularly,\u201d Polis said.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll continue to run the state while working remotely.<\/p>\n

Polis had tweeted on his personal account<\/a> on Thursday that he was sharing Thanksgiving with his husband and their daughter, Cora after learning Wednesday that he been exposed to someone who had the virus.<\/p>\n

The coronavirus is \u201csurging\u201d in Colorado, with the state estimating that one out of every 41 people is currently contagious, the Denver Post reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

The governors of Nevada, Virginia and Missouri have tested positive for the virus.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
