\n A YouTuber chasing his \u201cdreams\u201d fractured his skull after leaping into a river from atop a massive Texas bridge last week.<\/p>\n

Saa Fomba recorded last Monday\u2019s stunt at Austin\u2019s Pennybacker Bridge, posting it<\/a> to his YouTube channel on Friday after several days in the hospital.<\/p>\n

The footage shows the daredevil as he hatches the dangerous stunt.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully this video will motivate you to chase after your dreams,\u201d Fomba said to the camera as he prepared to jump into the Colorado river. \u201cI don\u2019t see no fun in living a normal life.\u201d<\/p>\n

A woman later records Fomba scaling up an arch of the bridge. At the apex of the arch, Fomba raises his arms into the air before wildly jumping to the water below, the video shows.<\/p>\n

A boater pulled Fomba from the water and he is later seen lying on the shore until first responders arrive.<\/p>\n

Later in the video, Fomba gave a video update on his condition from a hospital room.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is day three in the hospital. I can walk \u2026 I fractured part of my skull,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are texting me \u2018is it worth it?\u2019 Fomba said. \u201cNo one wished to get hurt, but it\u2019s always worth it chasing your dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

Officials told CBS Austin<\/a> that Fomba was taken to St. David\u2019s South Austin Medical Center.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if he will face any criminal charges for the stunt.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
