\n An MTA bus driver took his lone rider to a secluded spot and sexually assaulted her, cops said Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old\u00a0victim told police that she boarded the BX26 bus at Jerome Avenue and Bedford Park in the Bronx a little before 3:30 p.m., authorities said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe says the driver drove the bus to a secluded location, turned off the bus and sat down next to her and started to touch her,\u201d a police spokesman said. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty outrageous if it did happ<\/a>en.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police sources said the driver also bear-hugged her and that she pushed him away. The driver also provided her with his name, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The woman told police she went to Montefiore Hospital to be examined after the incident, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The police spokesman said cops are looking at video and GPS data from the bus.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe alleged conduct \u2013 if true \u2013 is reprehensible and would go against everything this agency stands for,\u201d MTA Spokesman Aaron Donovan said. \u201cWe are cooperating fully with the NYPD\u2019s investigation.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
