done better down to their QB5, but the expected disaster transpired Sunday for the Broncos.<\/p>\n<p>Practice-squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton, a former college quarterback at Wake Forest promoted to the active roster with all four Denver quarterbacks placed Saturday on the COVID-19 restricted list, had zero passing yards in the first half and just 13 for the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> in a 31-3 loss Sunday to New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p>The NFL denied Denver\u2019s requests to postpone the game after Broncos backup quarterback Jeff Driskel tested positive for COVID-19, and fellow quarterbacks Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and practice-squad veteran Blake Bortels were ruled out for Sunday\u2019s game because they\u2019d come in close contact with Driskel in a positional meeting in which none of them were wearing masks, breaking league protocols.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a controlled and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a>ly distanced area, we let our masking slip for a limited amount of time,\u201d Lock tweeted Sunday. \u201cAn honest mistake, but one I will own. I sincerely apologize and I fully understand why these safety precautions are so important. Hill punctuated his second score by doing a backflip into the end zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt feels good, but I feel like there\u2019s still a lot of work to do,\u201d said Hill, who went over 1,000 receiving yards (1,021) for the season. \u201cI\u2019m always looking to get better. \u2026 I want to be the best receiver in the game. So I\u2019m going to continue to work hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hill\u2019s first-quarter total was the most receiving yards in one quarter since Baltimore\u2019s Qadry Ismail posted 210 yards in the third quarter for the Ravens in 1999. The defending NFL rushing leader is on pace for a career-high 1,828 yards on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnytime the O-line is getting movement and getting Derrick going, it\u2019s a good thing for the Titans,\u201d Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. \u201cI think we\u2019re at our best whenever Derrick is rolling. \u2026 Derrick was running his tail off today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A.J. Brown added a 42-yard scoring return on an onside kick and a 69-yard TD reception as the Titans put up 449 yards of total offense against a Colts defense that came in ranked second in the league in yardage (298.1 per game) and fifth in scoring defense (20.8 ppg).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Browns_Brownson_Make_History\"><\/span>Browns, Brownson Make History<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Despite only one of their eight wins coming against teams currently with a winning record, Cleveland (8-3) also moved closer to its first playoff berth since 2002 with a 27-25 win over Jacksonville (1-10).<\/p>\n<p>Baker Mayfield threw for 258 yards with TD passes to Jarvis Landry (8-143) and Austin Hooper as the Browns (8-3) clinched at least a .500 record for the first time since 2007 (10-6).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve played in a bunch of different games and we\u2019ve had to find a way to win in a bunch of different ways and that\u2019s not going to change,\u201d Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. \u201cWe\u2019re just trying to go 1-0 each week. We get to eight [wins] and we have a bunch more games to go. We\u2019re not really concerned with the past.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville had a chance to tie the score after James Robinson\u2019s 4-yard rushing TD with 2:14 remaining, but fill-in Jaguars quarterback Mike Glennon overthrew Keelan Cole in the end zone on the two-point conversion attempt.<\/p>\n<p>Browns chief of staff Callie Brownson filled in for Cleveland tight ends coach Drew Petzing (paternity leave) on the sidelines, becoming the first female positional coach in NFL history.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Bear_Maximum\"><\/span>The Bear Maximum<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Aaron Rodgers tossed four touchdown passes to take over the NFL lead with 33 as Green Bay (8-3) opened a three-game lead in the NFC North with a 41-25 win Sunday night over Chicago (5-6).<\/p>\n<p>The Packers defense sacked Mitchell Trubisky three times and picked him off twice, but he led two late scoring drives after Green Bay had opened a 41-10 lead in the third quarter.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Slye_Doesnt_Fly\"><\/span>Slye Doesn\u2019t Fly<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Vikings receiver Chad Beebe atoned for an earlier fumble with a go-ahead, 10-yard touchdown reception with 46 seconds remaining as Minnesota (5-6) pulled out a 28-27 win over Carolina (4-8). Panthers kicker Joey Slye pulled a 54-yard field-goal try as time expired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe made it thrilling there at the end, but we got it done,\u201d Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said.<\/p>\n<p>Rookie linebacker Jeremy Chinn scored two defensive touchdowns on two consecutive offensive snaps by Minnesota early in the second half for Carolina. According to NFL Network, that\u2019s the first time any player scored defensively on successive opposing plays from scrimmage. Backup QBs didn\u2019t fare too well in Week 12. The group of Taysom Hill, Mike Glennon, Brandon Allen, Nick Mullens, Kendall Hinton, Andy Dalton and Alex Smith, averaged a combined 9.7 fantasy points. An average day by an average QB is 18 points. Hill managed 17.5 points despite just 78 yards passing, thanks to two rushing TDs.<\/li>\n<li>Backup QBs weren\u2019t the only ones who struggled. Kyler Murray\u2019s porous 7.9-point outing vs. the Patriots was more than 20 points short of his average. In the same game, Cam Newton couldn\u2019t even reach 4 points. And Derek Carr, in a great matchup vs. the Falcons, couldn\u2019t even reach 1 \u2014 scoring 0.6 in ESPN formats. His backup, the Notorious Nathan Peterman, came in during garbage time, and he outscored Carr, with a mere 1.9.<\/li>\n<li>Tyreek Hill (13 for 269 receiving, three TDs, 57.9 PPR points) had the single biggest fantasy week so far this season. The next closest was Tyler Lockett\u2019s 53-point Week 7. Those are the only two 50-plus fantasy outings this season. It is the best single PPR fantasy performance since Jaguars WR Jimmy Smith in 2000 (62.1) and fifth-best ever.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"He_Said_What\"><\/span>He Said What<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cI want to apologize to the Raider nation and really compliment the Falcons. They played a hell of a football game and we did not. We\u2019re a lot better team than that.
