most controversial member of the White House coronavirus task force, has resigned, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/dr-scott-atlas-resigns-special-adviser-trump-coronavirus\" class=\"icon none\">Fox News reported<\/a> late Monday.<\/p>\n<p> Fox <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> obtained his resignation letter, dated Dec. 1, in which he said:  \u201cI worked hard with a singular focus\u2014to save lives and help Americans through this pandemic,\u201d and that he \u201calways relied on the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> and evidence, without any political consideration or influence.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Atlas was serving on the task force on a 130-day Special Government Employee detail, which was due to expire at the end of this week, Fox News reported. He was <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointed by President Donald Trump to the task force in August.<\/p>\n<p>Atlas, a radiologist with no previous experience in infectious diseases, has had Trump\u2019s ear in recent months. He has been an outspoken critic of lockdowns and supporter of a \u201cherd immunity\u201d strategy, and earlier this month was sharply criticized after tweeting <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/dr-scott-atlas-fire-telling-michigan-rise-covid\/story?id=74234276\" class=\"icon none\">that Michigan should \u201crise up\u201d<\/a> against coronavirus restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>He was also assailed by many health experts for spreading misinformation. In October, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> Inc.<br \/>\n        TWTR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203180645\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.17%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       blocked one of his tweets that falsely claimed face masks were ineffective at preventing the spread of COVID-19. Numerous studies have debunked that, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has stressed the importance of wearing masks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have real problems with that guy,\u201d Dr. Anthony Fauci told the Washington Post earlier this month. \u201cHe\u2019s a smart guy who\u2019s talking about things that I believe he doesn\u2019t have any real insight or knowledge or experience in.
