Enad Global 7 will acquire PlanetSide<\/em>, H1Z1<\/em>, DC Universe Online<\/em>, and EverQuest<\/em> developer Daybreak Game Company in a $300 million deal expected to close no later than December 31, the group announced<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Enad Global 7 is a group of companies that develops, markets, publishes, and distributes video games. It consists of game development divisions Toadman Studios, Big Blue Bubble, and Antimatter Games, publishing division Sold Out, and marketing division Petrol Advertising. It also recently acquired MechWarrior<\/em> series<\/a> developer Piranha Games.<\/p>\n

Daybreak Games Company consists of four studios: Darkpaw Games (EverQuest<\/em> series), Dimensional Ink (DC Universe Online<\/em>), Rogue Planet Games (PlaneSide<\/em> series), and Cold Iron Studios (new console and PC shooter based on the Alien<\/em> franchise). Within the Enad Global 7 Group, Daybreak Game Company will \u201cfurther strengthen and broaden the Enad Global 7 portfolio of engaging games and IPs, in addition to bringing in several strong teams both on development, operations and strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n
