global scientific community came together with unprecedented speed to create, it would <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" this pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>With more than a hundred vaccines\u00a0in the works for months\u2014and no way to know which would cross the regulatory finish line first\u2014Ottawa hedged its bets by making advance-purchase agreements for a wide portfolio of vaccine candidates: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Medicago, Johnson &amp; Johnson, Novavax and Sanofi count among the makers with whom the feds have done deals.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an update on where all seven of Canada&#8217;s vaccine hopefuls stand, how many doses the government has pre-ordered and how soon we might expect to get them.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pfizer_US\"><\/span>Pfizer (U.S.)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Trials_and_approval\"><\/span>Trials and approval<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pfizer <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com\/news\/press-release\/press-release-detail\/pfizer-and-biontech-conclude-phase-3-study-covid-19-vaccine\">concluded<\/a> its Phase 3 study in mid-November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Health Canada received its application for apporov on Oct. 9, 2020 under the department&#8217;s &#8220;rolling submission&#8221; program. The outcome of the application is pending, though Health Canada\u2019s chief medical advisor, Dr. Supriya Sharma, told <em>Maclean\u2019s<\/em> \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">we are about to have a full clinical package\u201d for review with respect to at least one of the three COVID-19 vaccine submissions currently underway.
