And <em><strong>Becky<\/strong><\/em>, the upcoming film in which he plays the villain, isn\u2019t a spoof or played for laughs \u2013 it\u2019s all done with a straight face. Check out a new red band trailer and a clip from the movie below.<span id=\"more-620491\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Becky_Red_Band_Trailer\"><\/span>Becky Red Band Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8--xifWHwoM?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>(For a better grasp of the plot specifics in this movie, watch its initial trailer.)<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re anything like me, you may have rolled your eyes when you heard Kevin James was going to play a Nazi-tattooed killer in a new thriller. But this trailer actually makes the movie look pretty fun. It\u2019s probably not going to be a life-changing experience, but it certainly seems as if it could be a significant turning point for James to break out of a pigeonhole and take on a much wider range of roles, which would be great to see. He\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly an enjoyable, affable presence in interviews, but his comedies are often too broad for my personal tastes. I\u2019d love for this performance to open some new doors for his career.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Becky_Clip\"><\/span>Becky Clip<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Smw-gPVdUq0?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>James\u2019 surprising menace really shines through in this clip (via The Playlist), where he threatens the young girl at the center of the story (<strong>Lulu Wilson<\/strong>, from <em>Sharp Objects<\/em> and <em>The Haunting of Hill House<\/em>) and tortures her father, who\u2019s played by <em>Community<\/em>\u2018s <strong>Joel McHale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The film comes from directors\u00a0<strong>Cary Murnion<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Milott<\/strong>, who previously directed the 2014 Elijah Wood zombie school movie\u00a0<em>Cooties<\/em>\u00a0and the 2017 Dave Bautista action flick\u00a0<em>Bushwick<\/em>. (The latter movie is about armed forces invading New York, which has unfortunately become weirdly topical.)<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the movie\u2019s official synopsis, courtesy of Quiver Distribution:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Spunky and rebellious, Becky (Lulu Wilson) is brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father Jeff (Joel McHale) in an effort to try to reconnect.
