We are very focused on not killing this, and it is equally important that we develop the networks behind Bitcoin and other cryptos as it is that we prevent money laundering and terrorism financing.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is the bureau of the Treasury Department that supervises federal banks. <\/p>\n<p>Brooks\u2019 comment was in response to a question about whether the administration of Donald Trump was planning to roll out potentially damaging cryptocurrency regulations before the end of its term. Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brian_armstrong\/status\/1331746101704024065\">brought attention<\/a> to this issue last month in a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of tweets explaining why stringent regulations targeting self-hosted crypto wallets would be a bad idea.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about whether we can expect new regulations by the end of President Trump\u2019s term, Brooks said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think you\u2019re going to see a lot of good <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> for crypto by the end of the Trump term. Some of it is going to have to do with banks connecting to blockchains, some of it is going to be more clarity around the nature of these assets.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While acknowledging that it\u2019s a \u201cdangerous world out there,\u201d Brooks said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNobody\u2019s going to ban Bitcoin.
