Eli Manning was one of the most respected players in the Giants locker room during his 16-year tenure. He was also a noted prankster, and tales of Manning\u2019s mischief are still being unearthed.<\/p>\n

In a recent Q&A with The Post\u2019s Steve Serby, running back Wayne Gallman was asked for his favorite Manning memory from the three seasons they were Giants teammates.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say it was my favorite, but this is my most memorable \u2014 we\u2019re in the locker room before a game<\/a>, he was doing his stretching while I was sitting in my chair listening to music, and he walked by and he farted by my face. And walked away,\u201d the 26-year-old said.<\/p>\n

So did he get Manning back?<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no way I could get him back after that,\u201d Gallman said. \u201cHad to do something real nasty.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former fourth-round pick had other fond memories of Manning, besides the two-time Super Bowl champion cutting the cheese in his face.<\/p>\n

\u201cEli is one of the best people I\u2019ve ever met, \u201c said Gallman, who has emerged as the Giants\u2019 top RB in the wake of Saquon Barkley\u2019s season-ending ACL injury. \u201cHe\u2019s a great leader, I\u2019ve learned a lot with him of how he could handle adversity. Just the way he handled himself as a player \u2014 being on time, how he comes to work, how he comes to practice, how he comes to games prepared, take care of his body. He showed a lot.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
