The firs were flying in Harlem Sunday night when a driver slammed his car into the Christmas tree display at a well-known garden center \u2014 and then pulled a gun on workers who chased him as he fled on foot, police and witnesses said.<\/p>\n

The male driver crashed through a fence of the Urban Garden Center at East 116th Street and Park Avenue at about 6:30 p.m., authorities said, leaving a path of holiday destruction in his wake.<\/p>\n

The man then crawled out of his smashed-up vehicle and took off, with several workers of the business in tow, according to police and witnesses. <\/p>\n

The suspect pointed a firearm at his pursuers and got away, according to police.<\/p>\n

Nobody was injured during the incident, and the man was still being sought Monday morning, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The Urban Garden Center, which is located under the elevated Metro-North tracks, has been owned by the Gatanas family for nearly 60 years, according to the business website. <\/a><\/p>\n
