To put Wayne Gallman\u2019s career rushing day in proper perspective, look back at his statistics from last season \u2014 or the season before.<\/p>\n

Gallman ran for 135 yards Sunday \u2014 25 yards more than he had in all of 2019 and 41 yards shy of what he totaled in 2018 \u2014 to lift the Giants to a 17-12 upset of the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.<\/p>\n

After the Giants managed 24 rushing yards and no points in the first half, Gallman\u2019s career-long 60-yard run in the third quarter changed the game<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing that changed was we knew we had to come out and hit them first,\u201d Gallman said. \u201cWe knew we couldn\u2019t play around anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alfred Morris finished the go-ahead drive with the first of his two touchdowns and later gave a shout-out to Gallman for doing the bulk of the dirty work. Gallman asked for a sub at the end of the 60-yarder, after Jamal Adams chased him down at the 17-yard line.<\/p>\n

\u201cI promise you I\u2019m going to win more of those than I\u2019m going to lose them,\u201d Gallman said. \u201cI\u2019m going to work on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The offensive line hasn\u2019t missed a beat since changing coaches from the fired Marc Colombo to Dave DeGuglielmo during the bye week.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve said it, but the line did their job,\u201d Gallman said. \u201cThey got everybody sealed. I pulled the linebackers in as much as I could and then I just hit [the hole]. Big credit to the offensive line today.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Seahawks were frustrated by an inability to stop the power running attack.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really surprised that we weren\u2019t able to slow them down in the third quarter running the football,\u201d coach Pete Carroll said. \u201cThey ran some basic stuff, and they got away from us. There were two drives in there where they were able to get enough going where that was the difference in the ballgame.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Gallman, the biggest surprise with the Giants now as compared to early in his career is behind the scenes with coach Joe Judge. This is the first four-game winning streak for the Giants since 2016, when Gallman was still at NCAA powerhouse Clemson.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe brought an all-in culture of team,\u201d Gallman told Fox before the game. \u201cThis isn\u2019t exactly what I felt in college at Clemson, but it\u2019s something close.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
