What a pair of Grinches!<\/p>\n

Two Rowan University students were arrested after allegedly causing nearly $6,000 in damages to the local Christmas display, police said Monday. <\/p>\n

One of the New Jersey teens \u2014 William Fowler, 19, of Demarest \u2014 allegedly scaled the Christmas tree in downtown Glassboro just after 2 a.m. Friday to try and remove the star, according to cops. <\/p>\n

Fowler then damaged the tree\u2019s lights and branches when he jumped down after spotting police \u2014 before taking off, cops said.<\/p>\n

The other college student \u2014 Matthew Lubicky, of Delran, also 19 \u2014 is accused of knocking over and damaging a large Santa hat in the Town Square. <\/p>\n

Cops tracked down the two after a witness shared video of the incident.<\/p>\n

Both were charged with criminal mischief, obstruction and disorderly conduct, according to police. <\/p>\n

Fowler was also charged with resisting arrest, cops said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
