Per <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2020\/12\/prodigal-son-christian-borle-michael-potts-season-2-fox-series-recurring-1234650804\/\">Deadline<\/a>, Christian Borle and Michael Potts have joined the cast of the FOX drama, which stars Thomas Payne. The cast also includes Michael Sheen, Bellamy Young, Lou Diamond Phillips, Halston Sage, Aurora Perrineau, and Frank Harts.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-112931\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The drama follows Malcolm Bright (Payne), a profiler working for the NYPD. During season one, Bright was forced to work with his serial killer father (Sheen) when a copycat killer surfaced.<\/p>\n<p>The following was revealed about Borle\u2019s and Potts\u2019 roles on <i>Prodigal Son<\/i>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBorle will play Friar Pete. A former friar ejected from his church for extremist views, he is famous for a notorious killing spree that has landed him in the psychiatric ward with Martin (Michael Sheen).
