They function like mini-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s, and on the Mac, they are installed and behave as apps themselves. If you don\u2019t want to use a Safari extension anymore, here\u2019s how to uninstall it.<\/p>\n<p>Mac users who are using Safari 12.0 or higher (running macOS Mojave or newer) will see extensions show up as apps. In fact, the older Safari extension file isn\u2019t supported anymore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>macOS Mojave Will Break a Bunch of Safari Extensions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just like the process of installing Safari extensions, deleting them is also convoluted. Safari extensions are downloaded as individual apps. This means that to remove an extension, you have to delete the app that comes with it (after first disabling it).<\/p>\n<p>You can manage Safari extensions from the browser\u2019s Preferences menu. You\u2019ll now see a list of extensions in the left sidebar. If you see the pop-up message that reads that the app wasn\u2019t deleted because it was in use, you\u2019ll have to go back to Safari\u2019s Preferences menu and make sure that the extension is disabled.
