After releasing five<\/span><\/a> different<\/span><\/a> trailers<\/span><\/a> for each<\/span><\/a> quin<\/span><\/a> over the last five weeks, another brand new trailer from the upcoming second season of The Quintessential Quintuplets<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> was released<\/span><\/a> today announcing that the TV anime, based on the manga series<\/a> by Negi Haruba<\/strong>, will be premiering on January 7, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The second season, titled The Quintessential Quintuplets<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> \u222c (yes, that’s a double integral symbol) is scheduled to premiere on TBS in Japan on January 7, 2021,<\/strong> at 25:28 JST (effectively 1:28 AM on January 8). The second season will be under the direction of Kaori<\/strong> (Yuyushiki<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>), who is taking over from season one director Satoshi Kuwabara<\/strong>. The series is being produced at Bibury Animation Studio<\/strong> (Azur Lane: The Animation<\/strong><\/em>), with Keiichiro Ochi<\/strong> returning as the series composer from the first season.<\/p>\n

The cast from the first season return as the five quintuplets and male lead Futaro Uesugi. Crunchyroll streamed<\/span><\/a> the first season as it aired and described it as:<\/p>\n
