There are already several beloved superheroes and galactic teams jostling for that responsibility, but what about the next generation? The children are the future, after all, and \u2014 thanks to a five-year time jump \u2014 they\u2019re all grown up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Young Avengers <\/strong>\u2014a group of superhero prot\u00e9g\u00e9s who came together in the comics to save the world after the main adult team broke apart \u2014 has been teased and rumored heavily for the past few years. But for the first time, with the confirmation of core team members like Kate Bishop (<strong>Hailee Steinfeld<\/strong>), Cassie Lang (<strong>Kathryn Newton<\/strong>), and America Chavez (<strong>Xochitl Gomez<\/strong>), we\u2019re seeing serious steps on Marvel Studios\u2019 part to bring them together.<\/p>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->The next Hawkeye, Scott Lang\u2019s daughter and prot\u00e9ge, and a super-strong Latin-American teen may form the core of Marvel Studios\u2019 Young Avengers. Or at least, it seems that\u2019s the direction that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is headed, with the introduction of Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, the younger Hawkeye who will be seen teaming up with Jeremy Renner\u2019s archer in the Disney+ <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>\u00a0<em>Hawkeye;<\/em> the confirmation of America Chavez, as played by\u00a0<em>The Babysitters Club<\/em> star\u00a0Xochitl Gomez, in\u00a0<em>Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em>; and the recasting of Cassie Lang with\u00a0<em>Freaky<\/em> breakout Kathryn Newton. After the\u00a0events of the 2004\u20132005 \u201cAvengers Disassembled\u201d storyline, these teens decided to fill the hole left by the dissolution of the main Avengers team. If the adults weren\u2019t going to save the world, the kids would.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Bishop was a rich debutante-turned-archer vigilante who would make a name for herself as Hawkeye before being taken under Clint Barton\u2019s wing. Meanwhile, Cassie Lang had the same powers as her father Scott Lang, the power to change size at will, taking on the name Stature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>America Chavez<\/strong> (also known as Miss America), a super-strong alien with the power to fly and create portals between universe with her kicks,\u00a0would join as a lead member in the new\u00a0<em>Young Avengers<\/em> series\u00a0by Kieron Gillen and drawn by Jamie McKelvie, which launched in 2013. Notably,<strong>\u00a0Kang the Conqueror<\/strong> (<strong>Jonathan Majors<\/strong>) \u2014 a notorious foe for the Young Avengers \u2014 will be the main villain of\u00a0<em>Ant-Man 3<\/em>, which suggests that\u00a0<em>Quantumania<\/em> may be our big lead-in to this team-up. In the comics, a young version of Kang, before he becomes a villain, time <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>s back to join the young Avengers as Iron Lad, leading to the Young Avengers facing the dilemma of realizing their team member is destined to be a villain.<\/p>\n<p>With the forthcoming\u00a0<em>Loki<\/em> series potentially dealing with alternate realities and alternate Lokis, there\u2019s a chance that we could be introduced to <strong>Young Loki<\/strong>, another core member of the Young Avengers team, albeit one who is taken on as part-hostage, part-wary ally. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if\u00a0<em>Loki<\/em> ended with the introduction of Young Loki, ripe for a Young Avengers team-up.<\/p>\n<p>And while this character hasn\u2019t been associated with Young Avengers before, the announcement of an\u00a0<strong><em>Ironheart<\/em><\/strong> series, which\u00a0follow the character of Riri Williams (a young Black girl who\u2019s a genius inventor who creates a suit of armor that rivals Tony Stark\u2019s) suggests we may see the character played by\u00a0<strong>Dominique Thorne\u00a0<\/strong>join the team.<\/p>\n<p>With Iron Man dead and Captain America retired, and the rest of the main Avengers doing their own spin-off shows before likely retiring too, there\u2019s a huge void that the Young Avengers are primed to fill.
