Tough-talking true-crime TV personality Nancy Grace and her family have tested positive for COVID-19 \u2014\u00a0stunning the former prosecutor, who said she thought she\u2019d \u201cdone everything right\u201d to stay safe, according to a report Friday.<\/p>\n

The 61-year-old host of \u201cInjustice With Nancy Grace\u201d said she, her husband and teenage twins contracted the virus\u00a0 \u2014\u00a0as did her 81-year-old mother, who was hospitalized, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cCOVID is no joke \u2014 we thought we had done everything right,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cPlease keep wearing masks, social<\/a> distancing and stay safe \u2013 no family should go through this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grace tested positive Wednesday after coming down with a\u00a0cough and flu-like symptoms, she said. Her 13-year-old twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth, had sore throats, and her husband, David Linch, suffered a headache.<\/p>\n

Her mom, Elizabeth \u2014 who lives with Grace in Atlanta. \u2014 was rushed to an emergency room after suffering from lethargia, loss of app<\/a>etite and coughing.<\/p>\n

Grace\u2019s family is now in quarantine as her mother recovers in the hospital, she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDavid, the twins and I will continue to isolate at home while we recover, and we look forward to Mom coming home as soon as we are all better,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re praying for my mom, that she returns home as soon as she can.<\/p>\n

Grace added, \u201cWe\u2019d like to thank the tremendous doctors and nurses who are taking such wonderful care of her.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
