Take, for example, whether or not we are going to see Fiona.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve already from show boss John Wells that nobody really knows for sure if Emmy Rossum will return \u2014 and it\u2019s largely a matter of scheduling. Emmy is working on her own project at the moment, and while there\u2019s a chance she could come back, there are no guarantees. Speaking in a new interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2020\/12\/10\/this-is-us-season-5-spoilers-will-cassidy-sophie-or-nicky-return\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">TVLine<\/a>, Wells also noted that they weren\u2019t decided if the character was going to be mentioned or not down the road:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c[It\u2019s] a little early to know for sure \u2026 And I really don\u2019t want to think about the possibility that she won\u2019t be able to come back yet, so I may be in my own bit of denial about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, we\u2019re sure that the writers will figure something out in the event that Emmy is unable to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear down the road \u2026 but they want to keep their options open. There is another important thing to consider here, as well. Even in the event that Rossum does return to film scenes, do you think that Showtime would even announce it? Personally, we think that a return would be so much better if it\u2019s a surprise and comes totally out of nowhere. That just adds a little bit more to the overall sense of excitement.<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, though,\u00a0<em>Shameless\u00a0<\/em>has more than enough other stuff on its plate. We don\u2019t think that they will be any hurry to rush along a Fiona cameo, mostly because there is no real reason to.
