\n The older brother of former New York Jet Muhammad Wilkerson was reportedly charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in New Jersey Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Hafeez Brown, 33, is accused of shooting and striking Roobino Philemon as the man sat in the driver\u2019s seat of a car outside a house in Bridgewater Township, NJ.com reported, citing the Somerset County Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Before he was fatally shot, Philemon had tried to join a birthday party at a home on Bayberry Street in Bridgewater, but was told to leave, authorities said.<\/p>\n

A \u201csubstantial\u201d amount of marijuana and two guns were found by authorities at the home hosting the gathering, the report said.<\/p>\n

Linden Mayor Derek Armstead on Monday revealed Brown\u2019s relation to Wilkerson, who was drafted by the Jets as a first-rounder in 2011.<\/p>\n

Wilkerson, of Linden, signed a five-year, $86 million contract with the Jets in 2016, only to be released two years later after earning $37 million.<\/p>\n

He signed with Green Bay prior to the 2018 season after seven years with the Jets. He only played in three game<\/a>s, however, before a season-ending ankle injury. He remains a free agent.<\/p>\n

Since last June, Wilkerson has twice been arrested twice for driving while intoxicated.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
