They are also encouraged to \u201cvolunteer\u201d to make deliveries to customers during that time, CNBC said.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-2.72%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       did not im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely respond to a request for comment Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>It it not unusual for Tesla to pause manufacturing for a short time while it works to improve its production line. <\/p>\n<p>In a separate email to employees obtained by CNBC and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2020-12-12\/musk-calls-on-tesla-workers-to-boost-output-through-end-of-year?sref=ExbtjcSG\" class=\"icon none\">Bloomberg News<\/a>, Chief Executive Elon Musk said Friday that demand is \u201cquite a bit higher than production this quarter,\u201d and that \u201cwe need to increase production for the remainder of the quarter as much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tesla traditionally has endured an end-of-year crush to deliver its vehicles, both to meet production targets and to beat Jan. 1  deadlines for electric-vehicle tax breaks for customers. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Tesla gave a target of delivering 500,000 cars in 2020.
