Sorry, Swifties, a surprise album isn\u2019t dropping soon.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Taylor Swift addressed recent rumors swirling over an alleged third album, \u201cWoodvale,\u201d during an app<\/a>earance on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, well, this takes a bit of explanation,\u201d the 31-year-old singer began. <\/p>\n

\u201cI tend to be sort of annoyingly secret-agenty about dropping clues and hints and Easter eggs and it\u2019s very annoying but it\u2019s fun for fans and it\u2019s fun for me because they like to pick up on things. And they\u2019ll notice lots of things in music videos or photos or whatever, and then sometimes, I take it too far, and I make a mistake,\u201d Swift continued.<\/p>\n

Over the summer, Swifties spotted the word \u201cWoodvale\u201d<\/a> written in the trees on a black-and-white album cover of \u201cFolklore.\u201d According to the \u201cChampagne Problems\u201d crooner, it was a misstep.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was making \u2018Folklore,\u2019 the album that came out back in July, I was too afraid to even unveil the title of the album to even my closest teammates and management. I didn\u2019t tell anybody the album title until right before it came out,\u201d Swift explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so I came up with a fake codename that had the same amount of letters as \u2018Folklore,\u2019 Chose a random name, chose \u2018Woodvale.\u2019 Wanted to see how it would look on the album covers, mocked them up, and then decided, I don\u2019t actually want to have a title on the album covers and we forgot to take the fake codename off of one of them,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

When Kimmel pressed, \u201cIs that really true,\u201d Swift replied, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift added that her ninth studio album, \u201cEvermore,\u201d also had a codename of \u201cNovember,\u201d but they took it off all of the mockups.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe learned our lesson,\u201d the singer said.<\/p>\n

Kimmel then theorized another potential album, but Swift shot him down.<\/p>\n

\u201cJimmy, I\u2019m so tired,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve tired myself out.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
