Will we finally see Billie Eilish bat an eyelash?\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my parents\u2019 bed and I sleep in here because I\u2019m afraid of monsters in my room,\u201d 18-year-old pop sensation Eilish informs the camera in the newly-released trailer for her upcoming documentary, \u201cBillie Eilish: The World\u2019s a Little Blurry.\u201d (She turns 19 on Dec. 18.)<\/p>\n

The doc, directed by R.J Cutler (\u201cBelushi\u201d, \u201cThe September Issue\u201d) will be released via Apple TV+<\/a> on Feb. 26, 2021, and promises a look into the singer\u2019s astronomic success, including her five wins at the 2020 Grammy Awards.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The chart-topper is shown in the trailer addressing her fans. \u201cAre you guys okay?\u201d she asked. \u201cYou guys need to be okay because you are the reason I\u2019m okay. Okay?\u201d<\/p>\n

The documentary will come as a salve to Eilish-obsessed fans<\/a> who had tickets to her \u201cWhere Do We Go?\u201d world tour, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Scenes document Eilish getting her license and subsequently acquiring her \u201cdream car\u201d \u2014 a matte black Dodge Challenger \u2014 as well as time at her family\u2019s two-bedroom house in Brooklyn\u2019s Highland Park, where she recorded her first album and still lives with her parents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Expect cameos from the \u201cBad Guy\u2019 singer\u2019s writing partner, brother and fellow musician Finneas O\u2019Connell,\u00a0plus her mom, Maggie Baird, a celebrated vegan and former actress. Home videos and concert footage \u2014 plus the moment <\/a>when Eilish met her longtime idol and now-collaborator Justin Bieber at Coachella in 2019 \u2014 are also featured.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hair-dyeing, Invisalign-wearing California teen is private about her personal life and her body \u2014 she\u2019s usually wearing baggy clothes \u2014 so much so that she made headlines in October for sporting a tank top while running errands in L.A. She shrugged off body-shaming trolls: \u201c\u2018This is just how I look\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, she\u2019s dropped hints about her mental health struggles, including having suicidal thoughts (on her single \u201ceverything I wanted\u201d) and battling an eating disorder. The \u201cOcean Eyes\u201d singer who boasts nearly 72 million Instagram<\/a> followers has also been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome.<\/p>\n

Her newest single is \u201cTherefore I Am,\u201d though the movie \u2014 which began filming in July 2018 \u2014 will likely cover the success of her debut album, \u201cWhen We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m terrified,\u201d the Gen Z icon told NME<\/a> about eventually seeing the movie, as she claimed, \u201cI\u2019ve seen no part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe World\u2019s a Little Blurry\u201d comes on the heels of a couple other verit\u00e9 films following contemporary pop superstars. Shawn Mendes\u2019s biopic \u201cIn Wonder\u201d was released through Netflix last month while Ariana Grande\u2019s concert-movie, \u201cExcuse Me, I Love You\u201d is due out next week.\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
