The films are just two of the upcoming WB titles that are headed to both theaters and HBO Max at once, a move that\u2019s sent shockwaves through Hollywood and left some industry folks ticked-off. Once set for January 2021,\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat<\/em> is now arriving in April, while\u00a0<em>Tom and Jerry<\/em> has moved from March to February. Meanwhile, the <strong>Hugh Jackman<\/strong> movie\u00a0<strong><em>Reminiscence<\/em> <\/strong>\u2013 which was supposed to arrive in April \u2013 has been pulled from the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>When Warner Bros. announced that all of their 2021 releases were headed to HBO Max on the same day they hit theaters, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> came with a disclaimer: some release dates were subject to change. And sure enough, that\u2019s already h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening. The studio has moved around\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Tom and Jerry<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Reminiscence.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><em>Mortal Kombat<\/em> was set for January 15, 2021, but will now arrive on <strong>April 16, 2021<\/strong>. Directed by\u00a0<strong>Simon McQuoid<\/strong>, the film is a new take on the classic video <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. Originally slated for\u00a0March 5, 2021, it will now arrive in theaters and on HBO Max on <strong>February 26, 2021<\/strong>. Once upon a time, the plan was to open the movie on\u00a0December 23, 2020, but obviously, that isn\u2019t happening. Directed by <strong>Tim Story<\/strong> and starring\u00a0<strong>Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz<\/strong>, the movie follows a\u00a0hotel employee who hires Tom the cat to get rid of Jerry the mouse.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, there\u2019s\u00a0<em>Reminiscence<\/em>, the upcoming sci-fi film from\u00a0<em>Westworld<\/em> co-creator <strong>Lisa Joy<\/strong>. This Hugh Jackman flick was set to open sometime in April, but now it\u2019s been pulled from the release calendar entirely. One has to wonder if this has something to do with a recent report that suggested actors like Jackman were not exactly thrilled about the HBO Max\/Warner Bros. deal:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The surprise move left agencies on a war footing. Representatives for major Warner Bros. stars like\u00a0Denzel Washington, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Keanu Reeves, Hugh Jackman and Angelina Jolie wanted to know why their clients had been treated in a lesser manner than Ms. Gadot. Talk of a Warner Bros. boycott began circulating inside the Directors Guild of America. A partner at one talent agency spent part of the weekend meeting with litigators. Some people started to angrily refer to the studio as Former Bros. \u201cFor the longest time, Warner Bros. has been known as the best home for talent, and that has been a significant competitive advantage,\u201d Michael Nathanson, a founder of the MoffettNathanson <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> research firm, said in a phone interview. \u201cWith this move, they alienated the very talent they have worked so hard to attract.
