Most of all, it\u2019s totally free to access.<\/p>\n<p>The digital party kicks off this Saturday, and those who wish to take part don\u2019t have to worry about planning the right outfit \u2014 or bundling up and standing in Times Square for hours to secure their spot. All they need to do is <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> the free \u201cNYE\u201d app, or sign in to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/VNYE.com\">VNYE.com<\/a>, to see what\u2019s in store. Here\u2019s a look at what they\u2019ll get.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"See_New_Years_from_Times_Square_around_the_world_%E2%80%94_and_above\"><\/span><strong>See New Year\u2019s from Times Square, around the world \u2014 and above<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On Dec. 31, both the app and site will air several live feeds of the ball drop in addition to typical broadcast events on television networks with roughly 10 vantage points positioned around Times Square, allowing users to customize their view. <\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, with a rolling live feed from EarthCam, users can watch New Year\u2019s Eve celebrations taking part in other world cities, including Sydney, which will ring in the new year 16 hours before New York does.<\/p>\n<p>But this New Year\u2019s will also be out of this world \u2014 literally. Visitors will even get a New Year\u2019s shout-out from the crew aboard the International Space Station, as well as a live view of Earth from space as it begins another <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> around the sun. The show will display more than 60 pieces of digital works from some 45 artists, including <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/shyamagolden\/?hl=en\">Shyama Golden<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jeanettegetrost\/?hl=en\">Jeanette Getrost<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Avatars can also \u201cride\u201d the elevator up the One Times Square building. There, across three floors, they can access three immersive games \u2014 including a flying game in which avatars soar down a track hitting as many balls as possible to collect \u201cconfetti points,\u201d which can then be used to buy merch in the virtual square. For more, they can continue on to the building\u2019s observation deck for virtual-reality views of the city. <\/p>\n<p><!--If the slideshow is embedded in another post type add the inline wrapper --><\/p>\n<p>There are also performances from three musical artists: <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alexboyereal?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\">Alex Boy\u00e9<\/a>, a singer known for his African takes on pop music; <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/chloegilligan24\/?hl=en\">Chloe Gilligan<\/a>, a Nashville-based pop artist; and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/armaniblanco\/?hl=en\">Armani White<\/a>, a West Philadelphia rap artist. Although not live, they sing three songs apiece on a rotating schedule, which users can visit privately. The trio pre-recorded their segments in a studio while wearing motion suits to capture their moves for this virtual set.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want people to be able to go to that different world and dance with me,\u201d White told The Post. \u201cI hope it \u2026 takes everybody out of this moment for a second, or at least the nine or 10 minutes that I\u2019m performing, and kind of creates an atmosphere where people can feel like their soul is dancing, their mind, their spirit is dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Take_a_selfie_in_Times_Square_without_being_there\"><\/span><strong>Take a selfie in Times Square without being there<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Just because users can\u2019t be in Times Square doesn\u2019t mean they can\u2019t have that special selfie for the new year. In an augmented-reality feature, users can snap shots of their ready-for-2021 smiles that can be superimposed onto the New Year\u2019s ball with a fireworks background or have a digital silver 2021 crown cap their heads.
