Pedro Pascal<\/strong> is the star of Disney+\u2019s flagship show,\u00a0The Mandalorian<\/em><\/strong>, so why should he not make a few appearances in the recently announced\u00a0spin-off shows? That\u2019s what Pascal expects at least, saying that he \u201chas to be\u201d a part of\u00a0The Mandalorian<\/em> spin-off shows\u00a0Ahsoka\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and Rangers of the New Republic<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Pascal is set to be on every screen this winter, not just as the star of the hit Disney+\u00a0show\u00a0The Mandalorian<\/em>, but as the villain in\u00a0Wonder Woman 1984<\/em>, which is directed by\u00a0Patty Jenkins, who just joined the\u00a0Star Wars<\/em> family as the director of the latest film in the series<\/a>,\u00a0Rogue Squadron<\/em>. That\u2019s something that Pascal knew nothing about until the big announcement.
\n\u201cShe told me something was coming and she didn\u2019t tell me what,\u201d Pascal told Comicbook.com<\/a>. \u201cHow dare she not tell me?\u201d<\/p>\n

But Pascal\u2019s role in the Star Wars<\/em> universe remains on the television end of things. The man inside the Mandalorian armor expects his lead character in\u00a0The Mandalorian<\/em> to appear in the spin-off shows that were just announced: Ahsoka<\/em> and Rangers of the New Republic<\/em>.\u00a0Pascal says his character \u201chas to be\u201d a part of the upcoming titles:<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, fingers crossed. How could you not? This is like, this is something that\u2019s so much bigger than all of us, and we\u2019re all a passenger to it in a great way. And so, I find out, as it is decided and shared.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But Pascal doesn\u2019t have any confirmation as of yet, though he showed an eagerness to work with Jenkins again, gushing about the director.\u00a0\u201cThey could have been asked me to play a piece of furniture,\u201d Pascal said. \u201cPatty, I\u2019m a fan from the very, very first movie, to what she\u2019s done on\u00a0TV, the first\u00a0Wonder Woman<\/em>\u00a0movie and so, for an actor to get to work with her it doesn\u2019t get better, really. I mean it.\u201d<\/p>\n

So while it\u2019s not confirmed that we will see Din Djarin show up in\u00a0Ashoka<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Rangers of the New Republic,<\/em>\u00a0it seems that Pascal is eager to make it happen. And let\u2019s face it:\u00a0it would be hard to deny enjoying Pascal\u2019s charismatic self onscreen in other shows, even when he\u2019s hidden behind that helmet.
