A Georgia babysitter was charged in the murder of a 2-year-old girl she was caring for last Wednesday, police said<\/p>\n

The Sandy Springs Police Department did not reveal how the little girl died, but said an autopsy revealed her death was the result of severe injuries she sustained while being watched by 29-year-old Kirstie Flood.<\/p>\n

Family members of the victim who spoke to WSB-TV<\/a> identified her as Fallon Fridley.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was just the light of my life, the love of my life,\u201d the girl\u2019s mother, Kristin Fridley told the outlet. \u201cThis girl was gonna be the next president. She was gonna be a doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Flood, who the mother said was a close friend and full-time babysitter since August, called her crying, claiming Fallon injured herself on a playground slide.<\/p>\n

A search warrant obtained by the outlet revealed the babysitter had used her phone to search \u201cwhat type of people enjoy abusing other people\u2019s children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Flood also looked up: \u201cwhat does it mean to have a sudden urge to beat a child that\u2019s not yours,\u201d according to the warrant. <\/p>\n

The victim\u2019s parents said they had no idea Flood posed a threat.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like this evil was in front of my face for years and I never saw it,\u201d the mother said.<\/p>\n

Flood was charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated battery and cruelty to children, according to police.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
