Writer\u2019s note: I considered writing a COVID version of the Hanukkah tale, but worried that the Maccabees would become anti-maskers in that narrative.\u00a0<\/small><\/em>So I offer this instead, with apologies to Adam Sandler, whom I met in a hotel lobby once on Hanukkah\u2019s second night.<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n

Same for Chris Cuomo<\/a> of CNN and Andrea Bocelli<\/a><\/p>\n

Ellen<\/a> tested positive, couldn\u2019t tape no shows
Hugh Grant<\/a> spoke of fever and no smelling through his nose
Pink<\/a> warned her fans\u2014wear a mask and don\u2019t be silly
Did they listen? Poor Prince Charles<\/a> and Prince Willy<\/a> (both got it!)<\/p>\n

Being well-knowna can\u2019t save you from corona

Many world leaders enjoyed a covid bump
Others got the virus bad like Boris<\/a> and Trump
Noel Gallagher<\/a> from Oasis said \u201cVaccine? No thanks.\u201d
He\u2019d get a big-ass scolding from Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks<\/a><\/p>\n
