Wolfe&#8217;s version of Wilson\u2019s play, set in 1920s Chicago. Adding to the significance of the film&#8217;s premiere is the unexpected poignance of Chadwick Boseman&#8217;s final performance as Ma Rainey&#8217;s volatile horn player, who like Davis lets rip with verbal arias only Wilson could have written.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>On Pointe<\/em><\/strong> (streaming on Disney+): A six-part docu<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> profiles young students, ages 8 to 18, who literally must be on their toes as they train at New York\u2019s fabled School of American Ballet. <em>On Pointe <\/em>follows their grueling regime (filmed before the pandemic) as they chase their dreams while rehearsing for the annual New York City Ballet performance of Balanchine\u2019s <em>The Nutcracker<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Blue Bloods<\/em><\/strong> (10\/9c, CBS) The personal could become political in the popular police\/family drama\u2019s 11<sup>th<\/sup> season when Officer Joe Hill (Will Hochman), the grandson Frank (Tom Selleck) never knew he had, is publicly revealed to be a Reagan. Joe insists he wants to fight his own battles, but we all know Frank is rarely one to stay on the sidelines when his family is in trouble.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>A Creepshow Holiday Special<\/em><\/strong> (streaming on Shudder): For those who might prefer to spike their eggnog with, say, actual spikes, the macabre horror anthology returns with an episode of grisly yuletide whimsy. Adam Pally (<em>H<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y Endings<\/em>) stars in &#8220;Shapeshifters Anonymous&#8221; as a very troubled man who turns to the titular support group, including among its members a quite fetching Anna Camp (<em>Pitch Perfect<\/em>), to get to the root of what appear to be lethal blackouts. Among the shocking truths he discovers is the identity of the were-creatures\u2019 greatest nemesis, a very familiar presence this most wonderful time of the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inside Friday TV:<\/strong> The Disney+ hit <strong><em>The Mandalorian<\/em><\/strong> wraps its second season with more adventures in the offing, and more <em>Star Wars<\/em> spinoffs in the pipeline for the popular streaming service\u2026 Amazon Prime Video&#8217;s <em>Small Axe<\/em> anthology of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a>ly relevant dramas concludes with <strong><em>Education<\/em><\/strong>, the story of a precocious 12-year-old (Kenyah Sandy) who&#8217;s segregated to a school for &#8220;special needs&#8221; children when his enthusiasms are deemed disruptive, part of a system of denying Black children a proper education.
