That\u2019s what Paul McCartney must be singing after Eminem dropped a surprise album Friday morning to give Macca some unexpected competition for his own previously announced release, \u201cMcCartney III.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Em\u2019s \u201cMusic to Be Murdered By \u2014 Side B (Deluxe Edition)<\/a>\u201d is a 16-track sequel to \u201cMusic to Be Murdered By,\u201d which also arrived as a surprise last January. The new album features a diss track, \u201cZeus,\u201d aimed at Snoop Dogg, plus a politically charged nod (and accompanying music video<\/a>) to the coronavirus pandemic titled \u201cGnat.\u201d <\/p>\n

But with Sir Paul, 78, having already put dibs on this release date, Slim Shady\u2019s bum rush might seem, well, shady<\/em> to the Beatle. In fact, earlier this week, McCartney talked about how Taylor Swift had the courtesy to move the surprise release of \u201cEvermore\u201d<\/a> not once but twice out of respect for him.<\/p>\n

Speaking on \u201cThe Howard Stern Show,\u201d McCartney said he got an email from Swift, 31, telling him that she was initially going to put out \u201cEvermore\u201d on Dec. 11 to coincide with her Dec. 13 birthday. But then she moved it to Dec. 18 when she found out he was also planning to release \u201cMcCartney III\u201d on Dec. 11.<\/p>\n

Then, when McCartney pushed his release date back a week, Swift pivoted again to avoid conflicting with him and stealing his thunder. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I mean, you know, people do keep out of each other\u2019s way,\u201d McCartney told Stern. \u201cIt\u2019s a nice thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, clearly, Eminem, 48, is not so nice about these things. But what else you can expect from a man who would title an album \u201cMusic to Be Murdered By\u201d?<\/p>\n
