\nIf you thought TikTok<\/strong> was a place where everyone was going to get an equal shot at success, guess again!<\/p>\n

It turns out the platform is ready to purge users not because of what they post but because of\u00a0who they are<\/em>. And that is seriously disturbing.<\/p>\n

Unlike most social<\/a> networks, which will allow anyone to join in the fun until they violate some terms of service, it app<\/a>ears TikTok has decided they just don\u2019t like adult entertainers and sex workers \u2014 and they don\u2019t give a crap if they\u2019re representing that side of themselves on the site or not!<\/p>\n

In a new investigative report, Rolling Stone<\/em> spoke with multiple adult content creators who found their accounts suddenly deleted last month with either no explanation or a completely inaccurate one \u2014 and no chance to get it back.<\/p>\n

For instance,\u00a0Ally Hardesty<\/strong>, a\u00a0YouTube<\/strong> personality with over a third of a million subscribers, found herself kicked off shortly after reaching 40k followers. No warning, no strikes \u2014 just pfft, gone.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn\u2019t give much explanation. They basically just said I couldn\u2019t get my account back because I\u2019d violated the terms.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What terms? When Ally tried to get answers, they told her she\u2019d violated the policy banning nudity and sexual activities. But she hadn\u2019t. Her videos were all fully clothed dancing with friends, nothing related to sex at all. Here\u2019s an example:<\/p>\n
