Things are getting explosive for Chick-fil-A fans.<\/p>\n

Chick-fil-A\u00a0customers are claiming the Polynesian sauces are opening up randomly of their own volition.<\/p>\n

In a recent\u00a0Reddit post,<\/a>\u00a0a customer with the user name ShanNtrav alleged their Polynesian sauce \u201copens up and gets everywhere\u201d after \u201ca month or 2\u201d of having it. And, app<\/a>arently the user, who keeps \u201ca zip lock bag of fast food sauces\u201d is not alone in either their keeping of the sauce \u2013 which Chick-fil-A has\u00a0shared is one of their most popular sauces<\/a>\u00a0along with their signature sauce \u2013 nor the explosion of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey just easily explode. Not sure why,\u201d one person sympathized.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve even had times when working and stocking the poly sauce i\u2019ve found it randomly exploded in boxes\u2026. i guess that\u2019s just how it is,\u201d an alleged Chick-fil-A employee shared.<\/p>\n

Though the Reddit<\/a>ors are not the only ones to notice the Polynesian sauce phenomenon. This issue has reportedly been going on for years, with tweets calling it out going back to 2016. (It should be noted, those witnessing the exploding sauces seem to have had the packages for some time and not in a fridge).<\/p>\n

No one has found a reason behind the explosive condiment. The Redditor posed the possibility of it being \u201csomething acidic in the sauce that eats through the packaging.\u201d Though, there does seem to be a pretty easy fix, according to one Reddit user.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis hasn\u2019t happened to us since I started keeping them in the fridge,\u201d a person wrote.<\/p>\n

Chick-fil-A did not immediately return comment regarding the Polynesian sauce\u2019s supposed predilection for exploding. However, there is a workaround for those who can\u2019t part with the tangy dressing \u2013 and also don\u2019t want to keep it in the fridge for some reason.<\/p>\n

In March,\u00a0the fast food chain began selling its Polynesian and signature Chick-fil-A sauce<\/a>\u00a0in retailers. In October, the brand shared they would be rolling out to select stores nationwide.\n <\/div>\n
