An Amazon delivery man was in custody early Saturday after allegedly stabbing another driver in a brawl over a parking spot in Brooklyn, police said.<\/p>\n

Lancelot Forrester, 26, of Queens, has been charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon for the knife, police said. <\/p>\n

His victim, a 47-year-old man, is hospitalized in stable condition with a stab wound to his upper back, police said. <\/p>\n

The brawl happ<\/a>ened just after 6 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Ainslie Street and Bushwick Avenue in East Williamsburg.<\/p>\n

Forrester had just returned to his delivery vehicle when he got into an argument with the driver of another vehicle who was attempting to park, police said.<\/p>\n

After some shouting, both men left their vehicles and a small crowd gathered; Forrester is maintaining that someone in the crowd hit him in the head with a baseball bat prior to the stabbing, police said.<\/p>\n

Forrester was taken to the hospital for abrasions to his head.<\/p>\n

The Amazon driver had just delivered a package to his house on Ainsley Street, a witness who wanted to be identified only as \u201cJohn\u201d told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an Amazon delivery driver; the person who got stabbed, he rents a garage on Humbolt Street. His car was blocking the [Amazon] truck,\u201d John said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey kept following him saying, \u2018What\u2019re you going to do? What\u2019re you going to do?\u201d John said of men who fought with the delivery man.<\/p>\n

An investigation is continuing into possible charges against others involved in the fight, police said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
