Lay off the horn!<\/p>\n

The stats are in and a new study by GasBuddy<\/a> shows the worst cities for scrooges behind the wheel during this holiday season.<\/p>\n

And it turns out, the angriest drivers this Christmas are likely to be in California. The COVID-19-riddled state has four cities with the most aggressive drivers in the top 10 list with Los Angeles coming in No. 1, San Diego in second place, Sacramento in third and San Francisco in seventh place.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalifornia issuing another round of stay-at-home orders immedia<\/a>tely ahead of Thanksgiving on Nov. 19 could have been the catalyst for the highest percent of Grinch-style aggressive driving occurring in the country,\u201d Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said in a statement. \u201cWhen we are anxious and stressed, it surfaces in a multitude of ways including how we drive. Given how this year is going, it\u2019s likely we\u2019ll also see a higher level of aggressive driving ahead of Christmas.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

San Diego is making its first app<\/a>earance on the list and notably, Atlanta, which was last year\u2019s most aggressive city<\/a>, dropped off the list altogether this year.<\/p>\n

  6. Raleigh, N.C.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  7. San Francisco\u00a0<\/li>\n
  8. Dallas-Fort Worth\u00a0<\/li>\n
  9. Detroit\u00a0<\/li>\n
  10. Charlotte, N.C.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Shockingly, in the complete city rankings<\/a>, New York City comes in at number 14 \u2013 and no cities in New Jersey are mentioned at all, leading us to take this study with a grain of salt.\n <\/div>\n
