“#FKA twigs’ ‘traumatized’ over Shia LaBeouf ‘abuse’: insider<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Shia LaBeouf has starred in several movies<\/a> about painful relationships.<\/p>\n

In his latest, \u201cPieces of a Woman,\u201d out Dec. 30, he plays a father whose baby dies in a tragic home birth, leaving his marriage in pieces.<\/p>\n

Vanessa Kirby, who plays his wife, already scooped a best actress award at the Venice Film Festival and is touted to be nominated for an Oscar. But awards season is likely a bust for LaBeouf \u2014 once thought to be a shoo-in for a Best Supporting Actor nod \u2014 now that he\u2019s being sued by his ex, singer FKA Twigs, for sexual battery.<\/p>\n

As a LaBeouf pal told The Post: He\u2019s an \u201cextremely troubled\u201d individual.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has been hugely traumatizing for Twigs,\u201d said a friend of the singer, alleging that Twigs is haunted by memories: \u201cShia having a gun by the side of the bed and her fearing to go to the bathroom at night \u2014 it\u2019s a primal fear to be stuck feeling helpless in the dark.\u201d<\/p>\n

Twigs (ne\u00e9 Tahliah Debrett Barnett), 32, filed the lawsuit which contains allegations from another of the actor\u2019s exes, stylist Karolyn Pho.<\/p>\n

Singer Sia, 45, who hired LaBeouf to perform in her 2015 \u201cElastic Heart\u201d video, also tweeted: \u201cI too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he\u2019s very sick \u2026 \u00a0stay safe, stay away.\u201d<\/p>\n

And they are not the only ones who claim to have been abused by the former Disney child star.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Katy Rose also tweeted after Twigs\u2019 accusations: \u201cI grew up with Shia LaBeouf in Los Angeles. We \u2026 were working kids in the entertainment business at the same time\u201d and he \u201cgroped me violently at a party in the Hollywood Hills\u201d when both of them were teens.<\/p>\n

\u201cShia was always aggressive towards girls, myself included, while we were growing up in Hollywood,\u201d Rose told The Post. \u201cHe did grope me at a party when I was 14 \u2026 multiple times, on different occasions. He was always a scary guy. I felt very threatened by him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sia, Pho and Twigs declined to speak to The Post.<\/p>\n

Once one of Hollywood\u2019s most promising actors, starring in \u201cFury\u201d and the \u201dTransformers\u201d movies, \u00a0LaBeouf, 34, released a statement that read in part, \u201cAlthough many of these allegations are not true, I am not in the position to defend any of my actions,\u201d he said, also noting that he is in recovery for alcohol abuse.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years,\u201d he said in a statement to the New York Times. \u201cI have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I\u2019m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source familiar with the lawsuit told The Post that another ex, 27-year-old actress Mia Goth, talked to the women and their attorneys about possibly being part of the suit.
\u201cMia initially had conversations,\u201d said the lawsuit source. \u201cShe then got back with Shia. They\u2019re entwined in a way that none of us can understand.\u201d<\/p>\n
