In a passing league willed with yardage and chunk plays, the Giants are barely participating and certainly not contributing much to the pyrotechnics.<\/p>\n

They head into Week 15 with nine passing touchdowns \u2014 only the Patriots (eight) have fewer. Heck, even the Jets (11) have thrown their way into the end zone more successfully. Daniel Jones, in 12 games, has eight touchdown passes, which is prehistoric from a production standpoint. The Giants have one passing touchdown in their past four games, a short scoring flip from Colt McCoy to Alfred Morris in Seattle. Five teams in the NFL have 30 or more touchdown passes this season, led by the Packers with 39.<\/p>\n

Their opponents Sunday night, the Browns, have evolved into a running team, but still have 24 touchdown passes. It does not seem feasible for the Giants to expect to win games operating with such a shabby passing offense.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever it takes for us to have success, we\u2019ll go ahead and adjust in the game to make sure that we\u2019re moving in that direction,\u2019\u2019 coach Joe Judge said. \u201cWe always expect to have success. Look, we\u2019re not afraid to make this a grinding game in any way, shape or form against any team. I think we\u2019ve shown that throughout the year. Our defense is a key part of how we play. Our kicking game and field position, we have to continue to improve in all of those phases. Then offensively, look, we want to be able to run the ball and throw the ball effectively when we need to. Some games, it\u2019s more running. Some games, it\u2019s more throwing. Whatever presents itself, whatever is working within the game, we\u2019ll always make the adjustments to keep that going.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

The Browns will be without two starters, right guard Wyatt Teller (ankle) and free safety Andrew Sendejo (concussion). Their defense looks much different without CB Denzel Ward, who is questionable for the game. Ward missed the past three games with a calf issue. TE David Njoku (knee) is also questionable.<\/p>\n
