FOX is introducing a new show to the Animation Domination lineup on Sunday nights for\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day 2021. The network has announced that The Great North<\/em> animated series will launch on Sunday, February 14th<\/strong>. The new show will be taking the 8:30 PM timeslot, currently occupied by the second season of Bless the Harts<\/em> (which resumes January 3rd).<\/p>\n

Revolving around the adventures of the Tobin family in Alaska, The Great North<\/em> stars Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Will Forte, Dulc\u00e9 Sloan, Paul Rust, Aparna Nancherla, Megan Mullally, and special guest Alanis Morissette (as herself).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how many episodes have been ordered for the first season but we already know that The Great North<\/em> has been given a two-season order.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the premiere announcement from FOX:<\/p>\n

ALL-NEW ANIMATED SERIES \u201cTHE GREAT NORTH,\u201d FROM THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS OF \u201cBOB\u2019S BURGERS\u201d AND FEATURING THE VOICES OF NICK OFFERMAN, JENNY SLATE, WILL FORTE AND MEGAN MULLALLY, TO PREMIERE SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 ON FOX<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span>All-new animated comedy THE GREAT NORTH debuts Sunday, Feb. 14 (8:30-9:00 PM ET\/PT) on FOX, as part of Sunday\u2019s Animation Domination lineup. The series, which already has been renewed for a second season, was created, written and executive-produced by BOB\u2019S BURGERS writers and executive producers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, as well as writer Minty Lewis (\u201cRegular Show\u201d). The Molyneux sisters serve as showrunners. BOB\u2019S BURGERS creator Loren Bouchard is an executive producer, as well.<\/p>\n

THE GREAT NORTH follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family, as a single dad, BEEF (Nick Offerman, \u201cParks and Recreation,\u201d \u201cMaking It\u201d), does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close \u2013 especially his only daughter, JUDY (Jenny Slate, BOB\u2019S BURGERS), whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall. Rounding out the family are Judy\u2019s older brother, WOLF (Will Forte, The Last Man on Earth\u201d); his fianc\u00e9, HONEYBEE (Dulc\u00e9 Sloan, \u201cThe Daily Show\u201d); her middle brother, HAM (Paul Rust, \u201cLove\u201d); and ten-year-old-going-on-fifty little brother, MOON (Aparna Nancherla, \u201cA Simple Favor\u201d). While the children\u2019s mother is not in the picture, Judy seeks guidance from her new boss, ALYSON (Megan Mullally, \u201cWill & Grace\u201d), and her imaginary friend, ALANIS MORISSETTE (guest-voicing as herself), who app<\/a>ears to her in the Northern Lights.<\/p>\n

Animation Domination returns Sunday, Feb. 14 on FOX with all-new episodes of BLESS THE HARTS (7:30-8:00 PM ET\/PT), THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET\/PT), THE GREAT NORTH (8:30-9:00 PM ET\/PT), BOB\u2019S BURGERS (9:00-9:30 PM ET\/PT) and FAMILY GUY (9:30-10:00 PM ET\/PT). The evening kicks off with the series premiere of all-new trivia game<\/a> show CHERRIES WILD (7:00-7:30 PM ET\/PT), hosted by Jason Biggs.<\/p>\n

THE GREAT NORTH is a 20th Television production. The series is created and written by executive producers Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Minty Lewis. Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux serve as showrunners, and BOB\u2019S BURGERS creator Loren Bouchard also serves as executive producer.
