The upcoming Horimiya<\/em> anime received a new PV, which also previewed its two theme songs. The opening song is \u201cIro Kousui\u201d (Colour Perfume) by Yoh Kamiyama, while the ending song is \u201cYakusoku\u201d (Promise) by Friends.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on a manga series<\/a> written by HERO and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara, Horimiya<\/em> was first revealed in September and is set to premiere in January 10, 2021 at 12.30am in Japan. The staff includes Masashi Ishihama (Persona 5: The Animation, Shinsekai yori<\/i>) as director, Takao Yoshioka (Your Lie in April, WORKING!!<\/i>) as series composer and script writer, Haruko Iizuka (Ensemble Stars!, Inu \u00d7 Boku SS<\/i>) as character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama (Your Lie in April, Chihayafuru<\/i>) as music composer.\u00a0CloverWorks is in charge of animation production.<\/span><\/p>\n

Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online, Wasteful Days of High School Girls<\/em>) and Kouki Uchiyama (My Hero Academia, Sarazanmai<\/em>) are voicing main characters Kyokou Hori and Izumi Miyamura respectively. Nobuhiko Okamoto, M.A.O., Daiki Yamashita, Momo Asakura, Daisuke Ono, and Ai Kayano are among the other cast members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yen Press, which publishes the manga in English, describes the series as:<\/span><\/p>\n

At school, Kyouko Hori is known for being smart, attractive, and popular. On the other hand, her classmate, the boring, gloomy Izumi Miyamura tends to get painted as a \u201closer fanboy.\u201d But when a liberally pierced and tattooed (not to mention downright gorgeous) Miyamura appears unexpectedly on the doorstep of secretly plain-Jane homebody Hori, these two similarly dissimilar teenagers discover that there are multiple sides to every story\u2026and person!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
