Connie Chung dished dirt last week on colleagues at CBS and ABC, we reported \u2014 but she wasn\u2019t done there. <\/p>\n

On Andrew Goldman\u2019s \u201cThe Originals\u201d podcast <\/a>for Los Angeles Magazine, the veteran news<\/a> anchor also said, \u201cI didn\u2019t have a very good experience with a lot of male co-anchors, because they suffer from something called bigshot-itis, and it\u2019s sort of delusions of grandeur and sort of narcissistic behavior and a feeling of inability to stop talking.\u201d <\/p>\n

When Goldman asked whether Bryant Gumbel \u2014 with whom Chung sometimes co-hosted \u201cToday\u201d as a sub for Jane Pauley \u2014 suffered from the condition, Chung replied, \u201cI would say so. I\u2019d be sitting beside him, but I was invisible.\u201d <\/p>\n

But she added, \u201cin recent years he\u2019s become a different guy. He married a wonderful woman [Hilary Quinlan]. She said, \u2018Whatever it is between the two of you, we\u2019re not doing that anymore.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

The Gumbel anecdote didn\u2019t make the podcast\u2019s final cut, but was posted as a Los Angeles Magazine Q&A<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A rep for Gumbel did not immedia<\/a>tely comment when Page Six reached out. <\/p>\n

We previously reported that Chung candidly also told Goldman about her experiences working with Dan Rather, Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters, as well as her app<\/a>earances on David Letterman\u2019s show over the years and her recent cameo in the HBO hit \u201cThe Undoing.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
